Josh Sapienza

Director of the Philadelphia based advisory firm Llenrock Group, LLC and a Commercial Agent with affiliate Linden Lane / LLA Realty, Josh provides a myriad of restaurant development and commercial real estate advisory services for clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to joining The Llenrock Group in 2011, Josh assisted in the formation of the Hospitality Division at Legend Properties Inc. There, he specialized in Retail Tenant Representation and Business Brokerage for local and regional hoteliers, restaurant owners, chefs and operators.

Josh has over 20 years of experience in restaurant operations and senior management. He has held positions with prominent Philadelphia-based groups like STARR Restaurants and California-based Grill Concepts Inc.. Josh also successfully managed multiple locations for industry-leading casual restaurant brands including Chipotle Mexican Grill in the Northeast.

As a hospitality and commercial real estate advisor, Josh continues to provide support services such as: comprehensive organizational development, process improvement, service excellence management, deal structuring, capital acquisition and the creation of scaleable platforms for both individual and multi-unit retail operators.

After moving from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in October of 2012; Josh decided to begin posting his diary on-line as a means of sharing the transition he made from Working Dad to Full-Time Dad and the business lessons he continues to learn as a working Dad. His year-long sabbatical, as a stay-home Dad, was a catalyst for tremendous self-discovery and eventually... intense pride and appreciation for the advantages any stay-at-home parent affords themselves and their child.

In addition to serving clients within the Greater Philadelphia region, Josh also covers the South Eastern South Dakota and surrounding markets where he recently joined Nelson Property Consultants in Sioux Falls as a broker and consultant.

Mommy, a pediatric surgeon, left Nemours' Alfred I. DuPont Children's Hospital in Delaware (along with affiliates: Thomas Jefferson University & Main Line Health) for a position with Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls. She hasn't stopped making Daddy laugh since the day they met and continues to inspire both him and their, now 4yr old, little girl Catherine.
